SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School focuses on nurturing faith and building community. It provides an opportunity to explore the Bible, engage in meaningful spiritual discussions, and connect with individuals of all ages. Through dynamic activities and pertinent teachings, these sessions help integrate faith into daily life. This program is essential for the church, fostering lifelong discipleship, offering an inspiring journey for all participants, and teaching the skills needed to read, understand, and apply our learnings.

On the 5th Sunday of the month, we join together for Intergenerational Sunday—enjoying breakfast and Sunday School as one church family.

The Seekers

The Seekers group is a welcoming space for young adults - from post-high school through your 30s - to grow in faith, build community, and explore how to live out God's purpose in everyday life. We explore how God’s love and guidance are always with us, no matter what we face. In our group, we laugh, celebrate, pray for one another, and grow closer to God. If you’re looking for a place to belong and a reason to smile, come join us! We can’t wait to meet you!

Adults Loving the Lord (ALL)

Come join us! The Adults Loving the Lord (ALL) Sunday School class is

a welcoming group of seasoned adults, gathering to learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and serve others. Through engaging Bible study, meaningful discussions, and hands-on service projects, we strengthen our relationship with Jesus and share His love with our local community. Whether you are looking for spiritual growth, fellowship, or opportunities to make a difference, we invite you to be part of our journey.

Salt & Light

Our Sunday school class is called the "salt and light" based on Matthew 5:13-16.

We are a small group of baby boomers who strive to keep our flavor salty

and our lights bright! We enjoy some great discussions concerning our lessons and scripture.  Prayer for each other and our church family is an established part of our class.

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5: 13-16

The Disciples

The “DISCIPLES” class is taught by the pastor (The Rev. Dr. John Spencer, Jr.) and follows the uniform curriculum of all our Sunday School classes. Through his teaching and our questioning, we gain insight into the scriptures, we discern ways to apply this in our own lives, and we seek to become more like Christ in our relations with others. While open to all ages, most of the class are senior members of the congregation, and we meet in the multi-purpose room.
